Louisiana Flood Victims Tragedies and Community Strength

As people are being rescued and moved into temporary shelters there are new problems to deal with like providing everyday essentials to all these displaced people.

[gallery_postcount span_class=”gallery_postcount” gallery_style=”double” position=”2″] A bakery in Paducah, Kentucky heard about the plight of the flood victims and decided to ask their patrons for donations of soap, cleaning supplies, canned foods, and other everyday essentials. The bakery known as Kirchhoff Bakery thought they would get a few items to ship to Louisiana. Instead, the little local bakery received so many donations they had to fill up a box truck and drive to Louisiana to drop off all the items people donated to help the flood victims.
